Alberto Ginastera is considered as one of the most famous composers in Argentina. His early works often adopted the melody and rhythm of folk song and dance,which melted into the technical skill of modern compose music. Danzas Argentinas is his early piano works which was created in 1937. This thesis discusses this works in three parts.The first chapter is the general introduction of Ginastera's creations of piano works, including his life story, three periods of creation and the introduction of his early works.The second chapter is the expression of folk music in Ginastera 's early piano works. Analyzing the musical materials and composing skills to illustrate how Ginastera melts the musical elements of Argentina folk music into the modern composing skills and turns them into his own unique musical language.The third chapter is about the analysis of Danzas Argentinas and main points of performing it. The author uses analysis of piano playing and combines with playing practice to analyze the features of his music and put forward style process and performance points in interpretation of performance, to provide a reference for players.
