Akutagawa Historical Novel Of Artistic Expression

Ryunosuke Akutagawa is the outstanding author during the modern literature of Japan. The thinking of his historical story is rich. It tries to express the content of human nature connecting ancient and modern people. It embodies the highest creative ideas and artistic value in Akutagawa's stories. However, the domestic research mostly is concentrating in the ideological level to Akutagawa's historical stories nowadays. It is a few of comprehensive studies in its artistic level. Akutagawa is excellent at skills in writing historical stories. Every of his historical stories is different in the atmosphere and the terms, but the creative thinking of Akutagawa are interlinked on the core and methods of artistic expression, So I tried to enter his text, related the comments and ideas of Akutagawa, I want to study the artistic expression about his historical stories.I try to divide three parts for the studying of the theme called "the artistic expression of Akutagawa's historical stories". The Preface part explains the types and the unique content of Akutagawa's historical stories. The first part, I study the form and the pursuit in the artistic expression of the Akutagawa's historical novels. It includes two small parts, firstly, the author describes the normal people and his thinking is beyond the common ideas. Second, the author concerns the human nature and his pursuit of the meaning of life. In this part, I try to explain the richness and the unique of artistic content in the novels. The second part, I am focused on the analysis of artistic forms and techniques of plot construction. Related Akutagawa's writing thinking and theory, I attempt to fully show artistic features through the analysis of the plot construction, character view, and language features. The third part, I try to explore the main purpose of artistic expression in Akutagawa's historical stories. It is "showing human nature by historical fiction near the true". The conclusion part, It is a summary of the full text. I want to explain briefly that Akutagawa's stories are important in Japanese literature. In short, I try to explore the artistic value of Akutagawa's historical stories. I hope that people can understand it.
