Structure Of Thinking In The Music Of Paul Hindemith Study

Focusing on the Hindemith Paul's music works and harmony theory, we have selected, in this study, his 5 music works from different periods and with various styles, including the piano suite 1922, piano polyphony Ludus Tonalis , symphony Metamorphosis of Themes by Carl Maria Von Weber, viola concerto Der Schwanendreher and the practical music work Wir bauen eine Stadt. Such 5 representative works are particularly researched and analyzed hereafter, especially the effect of Hindemith Paul's harmony theory on the work structure. Therefore, we have taken a further study on the structural characteristics of Hindemith Paul's music works. Meanwhile, aiming at his practical music innovations, we also analyzed the structural characteristics. We find that Hindemith Paul's music works features trilogy symmetry idea, rhythm factor and golden mean.
