| Urbanization is the natural result while all the countries realize the industrialization and modernization in the world. China is practicing too. Looking back the urbanization in China, we are easy to find that the speed of urbanization after the reformation is much faster than before. But it is still slower than the economic development, industrial structure. And the urbanization is showing the new tendency that the speed is becoming slower and slower after 1990. But these 20 years is just the period that the town developed rapidly. We can't help wondering is this model that develop town mainly not fit for China at present? If it is not, then how to choose the most suitable urbanization in the future?I think town's defects determined the model mentioned above is only the phased aim. And the view that develop big city mainly is also unworkable at present. According to the analysis based on a lot of datum and learning from the oversea experience, I am going to offer a strategic plan of urbanization in China that is to develop the middle cities mainly while make good cooperation between middle and small cities (including the towns). |
