This thesis mainly deals with the motivation system of Knowledge Worker.When it comes to the Knowledge Economy Age, the Human Capital that clings to Knowledge Worker becomes a kind of important mine of modern company's value. At first part of the paper, the basic notion of Knowledge Worker and characteristics of Knowledge Worker's needs are explained. Also some economic motivational theories are discussed. Thus the essence of Knowledge Worker's motivation is given from the points of view of Human Capital Theory and Knowledge Axiology.Based on the discussion of the former parts, the thesis analyzes the actuality of Knowledge Worker's motivation in China, then it's limitations and some causes are found out. According to the experience that acquired by the developed country, the major idea and general requirements of Knowledge Worker's motivation are put forward. Then the motivational compensation system is conceived.Finally, a case is analyzed to show how to motivate the Knowledge Worker efficiently.
