Antidumping is one of the important measures, which WTO permits, especially for counteracting unfair competition and protecting domestic industry. In view of this, more and more countries including China, are drafting or amending their antidumping legislations. Although, on the whole, China's antidumping legislation (Antidumping Regulations) is in conformity with WTO edicts, there are still numerous areas where China's Antidumping Regulations fall short of the WTO standards. Many of these problems are undoubtedly the result of Chinese authorities' lack of experience in this field.
