Deng Xiaoping's Political Development Theory And Practice Outline

The paper is focused upon the issue of political development in China. Based on both domestic and international settings and the interrelationship between the development in China and that in the new century, the paperreviews the political guiding ideology in China----the Karl Mark's basictheories of political development and those of Deng Xiaoping's concentrating on the reform of political system. The paper finally comes to the exploration of the theory and practice of the major subjects concerning the directions of reform that the Chinese government has to follow.Part A:The paper points out that "political development " is a basic thread underlying Mark's political theory. Then the paper demonstrates that Mark's theory has brought to light both general laws of political development in human society and the special laws in the same area in different nations and countries, embodied through unanimity between the nature of different political development and that of the social systems. It is the nature of the political development that determines the way and directions of political development. It further tells the challenges that the Chinese government has to meet, based on the review of the past reform of the government. The primary work that the Chinese government should do is to quickly establish a high-efficiency marketplace, adjust the laws and regulations that do not conform to WTO's rules and further the reform of the market-oriented economic system. Special attention should be paid to the role played by the government, which should be fixed, and strong interference from the government should be cancelled. Market-oriented policy must be exercised firmly. In the end, the paper mentions the ten aspects that should be focal points for the governmental reform at the moment and the work ought to be finished as quickly as possible. Therefore, we should overcome the difficulties in practice and combine the reform of organization and that of the function. At the same time, we should well dispose the interrelationships among the reform, stability and development.
