Standardize The Market Economic Order

Market economic order refers to a status how the market main bodies can reduce the exchange expense and gain the best benefit through regulating the behaviors of the negotiants. It is an important factor that influences the growth of economy and the stability of society. The status of market economic order reflects the quality of the national economic operations, the level of the social economic administration, and the progresses in the national legal constitution.The Chinese government has realized that establishing a regulated market economic order is one of critical tasks for improving the socialist market-oriented economic system. In the past several years, the government has put lots of efforts on straightening out and regulating the market economic order by conducting the national campaigns against illegal economic activities, including smuggling, commercial cheating, and sale of fake goods, etc. However, due to some historical and social reasons, there are still many illegal economic activities in the current market and the status of market economic order must be further improved urgently. Especially, with China's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the economic globalization, a variety of new economic entities has been and will be brought into the socialist market-oriented economic system. As a result, a variety of new market forms, business ethical systems, and economic activities deeply impact the traditional market structure, the ways of trade and competition, and market supervision modes. In repose to the new situation, it is necessary to build an appropriate and effective supervision mechanism for maintaining the market economic order.The objective of this thesis is to introduce new approaches for improving the market economic order. At first, it presents an extended analysis of the currently existing problems on market economic order and discusses the importance of establishing a regulated market economic order. Then it identifies several major reasons that result in the bad status of market economic order. Based on the analysis, several new approaches are introduced to solve the existing problems on market economic order. Theseapproaches are proposed to implement in the two ways: (1) improving the government functions of market supervision and social administration and developing a comprehensive system of economic laws and regulations, (2) establishing a socialist ideological and ethical system compatible with the socialist market economy. At the end, it also suggests that the experience of other countries can be used as reference to set up a long-term effective market supervision mechanism.
