Urban Transport Smart Card System Applied Research

The new technology revolution is giving rise to the great changes on the social economic structure, production mode and consumption structure in our times, The development of the current new and high technology represented by the modern information science and technology is making influence on the development of the industry and economy of one country or region. The traffic informationization is one of the important embodiments, and is developing toward the intelligent traffic system (ITS) and industrialization. The America, Europe and Japanese is making it move forward regarded as the country or area's plan. It is generally thought in the world that the intelligent traffic systematic industry will be one of the most influential enormous industries in next century based on the traffic information. The public traffic smart card system of Beijing studied in this thesis is exactly the important component of traffic systematic informationization in Beijing and even the whole country.On the basis of this background, this thesis has carried on overall analysis and study comparatively in hardware structure and software design of the traffic smart card hardware system, put forward an imagine on the data warehouse's construction during the late period of the system development, offered an effective support for the management and decision of the traffic trade, played an enormous role to whole city's intelligent traffic systematic construction. The thesis divides into four parts:The first part is a summary of the traffic smart card system. Introduced the concept and composition of the smart card system, described the whole demand for the traffic smart card system in Beijing, and analyzed the important influence on the public transport trade and information construction in Beijing by the running of system. The second part is the smart card system's technical feasibility analysis. Analyzed the feasibility of network technology, database technology used in the smart card system in terms of theory. The third part is the system's design and realize. Described and analyzed the function module, flowing diagram, design and realize in detail of the accounting sub-system. The fourth part is the later development of the smart card system. In terms of data warehouse, made research on the later expands of the traffic smart card, have proposed the imagine of the application of data warehouse's construction.
