Chinese-funded Life Insurance Companies Profit Model And Transformation

In the recent years, business mode has become a hot word. In this dissertation, the author defines the business mode of life insurance companies basing on analysis of the contents, elements and characteristic of the business mode. Furthermore, the author compares the business mode of life insurance companies with normal commercial firms on the base of analysis of management characteristic of life insurance companies. Moreover, the developing stage and the current situation of sino-funded life insurance companies' business mode and how to change the mode are discussed respectively in this dissertation. The following are the framework and main ideas of this dissertation. Chapter 1: Definition In this dissertation, the author defines the business mode of life insurance companies basing on analysis of the contents, elements and characteristic of the business mode. Furthermore, the author compares the business mode of life insurance companies with normal commercial firms on the base of analysis of management characteristic of life insurance companies. Chapter 2: The developing stage and present situation analysis Part one: The developing stage of sino-funded life insurance companies' business mode The dissertation has divided the development of company's profit mode of the Chinese-funded life insurance into three stages based on structure of Chinese life insurance market:The stage of spontaneous profit mode (1982-1990), The stage of mode of business taking personal marketing as the cor(e1991-1999)and the stage of conscientious business mode (1999-now ). Part two : the current situation of sino-funded life insurance companies' business mode The dissertation thinks there are six existing problems of sino-funded life insurance companies' business mode: insufficiently understanding and analyzing of profit source, not enough for products innovation, the structure remaining to optimize, the fund application level of the insurance remaining to improve, the marketing idea not being really set up, low quality of serving, and the integration of the resources is insufficient. Author then has discussions that origin of the problems carried on from inside and outside two respects to sino-funded life insurance Company's business mode. Chapter 3: The reason and background analysis First of all, the dissertation has analyzed the reason that business mode of the sino-funded life insurance make the transition from three respects, and then analyzed the external environment condition background of making the transition from five respects. Chapter 4: How to transit On the basis that preceding paragraphs are analyzed the business mode current situation and background of making the transition, the writer began to carry on research to the transition of business mode of the sino-funded life insurance. Seeing that company's scale and power of life insurance in this group of sino-funded life insurance company differs, so the dissertation is taken the form in which the case analyses to do a analysis of the transition of sino-funded life insurance Company's business mode. Part one: Generality analysis of making the transition The dissertation thinks that should establish the correct strategic view first. Then, the writer analyzed that it is a way of dynamic development of the business mode to set up the studying type enterprise. And last, the writer has put forward the idea that the business mode of Chinese lifeinsurance makes the transition, that is "market orientation + product +service +management + Innovation ".
