In order to face the challenge of WTO, the state-owned commercial bank of our country needs raise the core competencies of themself urgently.Currently, how speed the reform step of the state-owned bank and promote the competition ability completely particularly core competencies, have become the urgent moment matter of manage.This text think that the modern commercial bank competition ability is mainly a kind of concept of core competencies, The exaltation of core competencies of the state-owned commercial bank is the valid integration and managements to it's core resources which are contacted and relied mutually, such as company manages the mechanism, principle of management, organization structure, human resource, the wealth and properties resources...etc., is the whole and superior.it depend on the most valid operation by the commercial bank in dissimilarity conduct and manage realm .Because the core competencies have the worth superiority, differences, ductility, hard mimicry, the business enterprise core competencies is a competition ability that can insure the business enterprise competitive advantage dynamic state to keep on, it is the foundation and sources of the business enterprise competition ability, but the source of the competition ability is not all the core competencies , namely each core competition abilities cause successful key factor of business enterprise, but cause successful factor of business enterprise is not all the core competencies of the business enterprise .n the market competition between local bank and foreign bank in future.Currently, the our country state-owned commercial bank core the competition is not strong, main performance is low capital ample rate , weak anti- risk ability,low conduct,low profit ability, uneconomical scale ,fall behind compete the means . The main reason is unreasonable power system ,thick puting t the management, weak financial creative ability , shortage competition corpus vitality , unperfect competition the mechanism, and unreasonable power system produce is result in lowly basic reason of state-owned commercial bank efficiency, the weak financial creative abilityis inside reason of state-owned commercial bank competition ability. The branch of the state-owned commercial bank cell to go, its core competencies is not strong,there are following problem: Lack the motive mechanism that profits maximize, the principle of management, the management idea still compares in order to fall behind, the resources real strenght the fixed position prohibit indeed, organize the structure not reasonable, the results investigateopaque, creative ability shortage, center business development behind, make the commercial bank get foundation, condition and guarantees,Carry on to various resources and abilities that state-owned bank own whole, strengthen the management, at the same time we should dynamic state management core competencies with long-term core competencies ,only then we can adapt the variety of the market continuously to keep the competitive advantage over a long period of time.
