As a nation's stabilizer, the old-age insurance system plays a significant role in healthy development of the society and economy. The pension fund is the economic foundation of old-age insurance system, because it relates to the people's old-age life. Our country is reforming old-age insurance system, at the same time, the change of the pension fund system has put pension fund at risk of depreciation. Therefore, it is necessary for the pension fund to enter the investment market, and the question cannot be evaded of how to supervise effectively the investment of pension fund.At the present time, the investment of pension fund is one of focuses in the society, but there is little research of supervision to pension fund investment. However, to assure the security and efficiency of pension fund investment and promote the development of old-age insurance project, the basic work we should do is to perfect the supervision system and improve form of supervision .So, based on the field of economics and law, the thesis try to research the necessity of supervision to pension fund investment, the value of the law and the principle of supervision to pension fund investment and the perfection of the law system of pension fund investment, and so on, so as to be helpful to the research in the law of supervision to pension fund investment.
