Deng Xiaoping's Thinking Theory Of Political Education

Ideological and political education about Deng Xiaoping's theory is an important constituent of Deng Xiaoping Theory. It is a profound summation of the practical experiences of work of ideological politics in every historical period since the foundation of our Party, especially since reform and opening-up. The summation is made by Deng Xiaoping under the guidance of the basic principles of Marxism and on the basis of Mao Zedong 's thinking of Ideological and political education.This text is led by the dialectical materialism and historical materialism of Marxism. Beginning with the position and function of ideological and political education about Deng Xiaoping's theory at first, the author then analyzed the goal,principles and contents of ideological and political education. Finally, the important and realistic meaning of ideological and political education about Deng Xiaoping's theory was discussed.This thesis is divided into five chapters.Ⅰ.Concerning the position and function of ideological and political education. Deng Xiaoping believed, both in the revolution or construction periods, ideological and political education is a critical work which have important influences on our party and the whole construction of our country .He proposed that, ideological and political education is our party's fine tradition and the political superiority. It is an important aspect of strengthening and improving the leadership of our party. The enhancement on ideological and political education is the important guarantee of the modernization construction of socialism and reform and opening-up. It is helpful to expel the factors that lead to chaotic even turmoil situations and the disturbance of the"left"and the right to promote the spirit of our party and the social convention for the better.Ⅱ.Concerning the goal of ideological and political education. According to the reality of our country's modernization construction of socialism ,Deng Xiaoping proposed a creative theory that nourishing"Four have"new generation ("have the ideal, have the morals, have the literacy, have the discipline") is the total goal of ideological and political education. He thought that it is the total goal of ideological and political education, meanwhile the goal is unified to entirety."Four have"education should grasp from teenager, and the key of implementation of this goal is creating a good social environment.Ⅲ.Concerning the principles of ideological and political education. Deng Xiaoping thought that the principles of ideological and political education includes: Realistic principle; mass line; democracy; combination; Innovation. Realistic is not only the essence of Deng Xiaoping Theory, but also methodology soul and the highest level core principle of ways of ideological and political work of Deng Xiaoping. To implement realistic ,we must emancipate the mind, make the theory apply to reality, analyze the concrete questions in concrete situations. In that way we can complete ideological and political work. In ideological and political education domain, only implementing the mass line, believing the populace, depending upon the populace, maintaining contact with the masses closely, widely mobilizing the populace can make ideological and political education work gain general population's understanding, the support and the participation, so we can obtain the twice effects with half of the effort . The solutions of ideological recognition question need to persist the principle of democracy, because the contradictions among the people are contradictions under the foundation of the consistent of basic interest. To solve such questions , we can only adopt the positive education and the unblocking method. We should carry forward the democracy fully, not attack, suppression. In the ideological and political work, Deng Xiaoping proposed that we must persist the principle of unifying ideological and political education and the material interest, unifying ideological and political education and carrying out the discipline and enhancing management. The innovation, is the vitality of ideological and political work. Our party's ideological and political work is developing in adapting the changes of historical conditions and maintaining the formidable vitality and the vigor in innovating .Ⅳ.Concerning the contents of ideological and political education. Deng Xiaoping thought that the contents of ideological and political education includes: the theoretical education of Marxism; the ideal education of communism; the education of basic route; the education of patriotism and collectivism; the education of communism moral. Deng Xiaoping believed, only paying attention to the new reality, grasping the elementary theory of Marxism, we can enhance the ability to study and to solve new political, economical, social and cultural questions. The Marxism faith and the communist ideal are the spiritual guarantee of our party which develops from infancy to maturity, from a weak one to a strong one, and overcomes all difficulties to obtain the victory of revolution and construction of socialism. Deng Xiaoping requested that the entire party pays special attention to the communist ideal faith education, and emphasized for many times to carry on the communist morality education to the youth. The Party's basic line is the life line of municipal construction equipped with the Chinese characteristic socialism. We must hold core contents of the party's basic line("a center, two fundamental points") and do not vacillate. The education of patriotism is the eternal subject of ideological and political education work. The patriotism is the great energetic power which condenses the Chinese nation and impels Chinese development. Collectivism is also one of primary coverages of the time main melody and the core of socialism moral outlook. The enhancement of socialist morality construction is an important content of ideological and political education work, therefore we must strengthen the education and construction of occupational ethics, common courtesy and the family moral ethics.Ⅴ.The important and realistic meaning of ideological and political education about Deng Xiaoping's theory. Trying to find out them, Deng Xiaoping consumed all his lifetime and energy, so all the principles and rules have the extremely significant practical significance. It ensures the business of socialism to develop along correct direction .It is advantageous to fully manifest the superiority of the socialist system and to guarantee the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics carrying on smoothly. Otherwise, it provides important experiences to construct the harmonious society of socialism and has the significant guiding senses to improve the ideological and political education work of the university students.
