Since 1949, party politics in Taiwan has passed more than 60years. Formally, it changed from predominant-party system, authoritarian regime system to multiparty system, democratic system step by step, and took twice trasition of political power, so beaten and so battered. Whereby, there are many factors both within and outside of the party system. These factors not only pushed forward the evolution of party politics system of Taiwan, but changed the political ecology in Taiwan directly. By analyzing the history and status quo of the party politics of Taiwan, I get the final conclusions: the party politics of Taiwan lead the relations across the Taiwan Straits to develop amidst twists and turns. We should have solutions as follows: as viewed from the parties, besides, we should create new ideas, starting with striving for the public opinion of Taiwan and establishing the mechanism of exchanges; furthermore, in the long run, the development pattern of the party politics of Taiwan, may influence on mainland China in some degree.
