A Study On The Inheritance And Development Of Liuhe Boxing In Zhoukou City

Abstract:Chinese traditional martial arts rooted in broad masses in China, besides the features of Wushu itself, which is also effected by China’s traditional culture, with the characteristics of regionality, cluster, mystery, and it is also the root of modern martial arts. To protect and inherit this precious and cultural form is the pressing responsibilities and obligations in the realm of martial arts. Xinyi-liuhe boxing has a history of more than one hundred years in Zhoukou city. During this period of time, Xinyi-liuhe boxing have been spread all over the country, and even abroad, which has influenced the boxing community of Xinyi-liuhe boxing. The research of Xinyi-liuhe boxing’s heritage, inheritance way, inheritance history, religious characteristics and its social value, development strategy in Zhoukou, aims to provide reference for inheritance and carry forward the traditional culture of Chinese Wushu.This article uses the method of literature, fieldwork and inductive, interview and analysis, takes Xinyi-liuhe boxing practitioner groups in Zhoukou, Henan provience, as the research object. From the survey of the origin of Zhoukou city xinyi-liuhe boxing, survival environment, influenced by islamic culture, tradition, inheritance history and inheritance present situation to obtain, standing in the perspective of culturology, sociology, etc., on the inheritance and development, Xinyi-liuhe boxing in Zhoukou city were studied. Results showed that:1. Xinyi-liuhe boxing was first played by martial artist Ji Longfeng in late Ming dynasty; Ji Longfeng’s disciple Maxueli learned the art and returned to Henan to teach the others, and thenb the art become Mind-Liuhe Boxing.the mind liuhe boxing of Zhoukou city came from Mai Tuzhuang and Li Haishenhenan who were the fifth generation descendant of Henan Liuyi-liuhe.2. The living environment of Xinyi-liuhe Boxing in zhoukou city: historical human geography environment of zhoukou city and mosques have made an impact on the inheritance of mind liuhe boxing.3. Islamic culture has an influence on Zhoukou Xinyi-Liuhe boxing inheritance, mainly including the concept of "st", the conservatism of the inheritance, the specification which has strict requirements for practicing martial arts.4. Inheritance way of Zhoukou Mind-Liuhe Boxing, overall is relatively conservative, including mentoring heritage, dense consanguinity heritage, regional geography, the heavier of the religious clan tradition.5. Xinyi-liuhe boxing of Zhoukou, inheritance history and inheritance context are relatively clear, inheriting the basic clear table.6. The Xinyi-liuhe boxing of Zhoukou current inheritance situation is:the best inheritance people become less and less; the group number is too little; there are conflicts between tribes; lack of unity.7. The development strategy of Xinyi-liuhe boxing:diversifying; each branch line of the traditional model being together; the local government providing help; organizing more games and scientific meetings; useing the convenience of modern new media; strengthening the packing up Mind-liuhe boxing.
