A Study On The Development Of Sports Culture In Xi'an In The Early Days Of The People 's Republic Of China (1949-1966)

The early founding of our country, we learn the experience of the Soviet union to vigorously develop the industry in our country, promote national economic strength. As factories built, factory sports began to develop rapidly.This study focuses on the situation of Xi’an factory sport in1949-1966, focus on understanding the relative policy, organization, activity form about Xi’an factory sport culture. And analyzes the influence of Xi’an factory sports culture’s on contemporary sports culture development in Xi’an.In the process of the research mainly adopts the literature review method, interview method and logic analysis and other research methods. Mainly collected in1953,1955-1953years of the Xi’an daily, and in1960-1966, the Xi’an evening news, and analyzes them; Through interviews with the old workers in Xi’an machinery factory and Xi’an state-run red flag factory at that time, and the old professor who taught there, combined with logic analysis to study this paper.Through analysis the characteristic of the early Xi’an factory sports development, it can be divided into two phases, the first stage for start-up period (1949-1956), the second stage of the formation and gradually perfect the period (1957-1966). Each stage of the main characteristics as follows:Sports activities in start-up period, the factory with the development of Xi’an second worker sports meeting, lifted the Xi’an staff sports of large scale. To summarize the characteristics of this period:system of organization and leadership of employees which basis on the system of Labour and Defence, promote management system more perfect. Under the leadership of t trade union organizations, sports committee and the club, various sports competitions, organized all kinds of sports activities has carried out, the emergence of these organizations is the guarantee. For Xi’an factory sports activities organization.In formation and gradually perfect stage, the late50s Xi’an industry rapid development along with the country’s industrial layout adjustment. during this period the main performance of the factory sport was that the moving companies has brought the higher level of sports, talents, brought sports concept, rich sports activities, held staff sports contests actively, provide more robust organizational guarantee, strengthen the system construction, improve the equipment facilities etc., at the same time the third workers sports meeting held in Xi’an during this period,which is a good chance to inspect the Xi’an factory worker sports development, promote the leadership of the party and the value, enhance the influence of factory workers in sports, speeds up the factory worker sports more healthy.Summary of factories sports development in the1949-1966, factory can be seen that this period sports since the childhood, from low to high, form point to surface rapid development, it had o lot of features, just like wide participation, more new sports, thick sports atmosphere organizational guarantee strong etc, this stage the factory culture deeply influenced the formation and development of sports culture in Xi’an, has the features of Xi’an: open, struggle, passion. Until today, Xi’an factory sports is still active, which is one of the main force of Xi’an sports.
