A Study On The Content Of Adolescent Education In The Teaching Of The First Biology

Adolescence is a key stage of life that children are experiencing a transition from childhood to adulthood and forming their outlook on life, world and values. It means that has an important significance in people’s life. With the development of social economy and the continuous improvement of people’s living standard, the teen sexual maturity has been moved up. They are eager to know body changes of themselves and other people with anxiety, however, due to the lack of sex education in school, they can only turn to newspapers and magazines, and even the porn and unhealthy video. Meanwhile, with the globalization of world economy, the media well-developed and China’s opening up policy, Children are greatly impacted by varies sexual information and foreign open view of sex and result in a series of adolescent problems:fall in love at early age, pregnancy, and even sexual crimes, etc. Thus, for junior middle school students who are in early adolescence, and at the early stage of sexual instinct awakening, adolescent education becomes very important, such as making them understanding their changes during puberty, preparing for their physical and psychological changes of puberty, and learning physical and mental health.Nowadays, students’ sex education has been getting more attention from the society than before, but, in our country, there is still no single subject, no text book, no unified guidance, no professional teachers so far. The school puberty education task is taught by teachers of other fields, further more, students can learn the knowledge involved in exams, not the sex education. As the Biology teacher, has its own academic strengths, also have a responsibility for students’ puberty education.This study is investigated on the students of Tai yang middle school in Yuncheng, Shanxi province,we discussed the principles of puberty education target in school and made a suitable contents of adolescence education for Tai yang middle school. Five lectures topics were concluded:The reproductive system and reproductive; Emission, menstruation and secondary sexual characteristics; Heterosexual communication; Sexity, sex information (The right attitude in sex; Sexual intelligence and sexual culture); Sexual assault and self-protection. Finally, put forward some suggestions on puberty education to school, families and society.
