Design And Implementation Of Micro - Course Based On Moodle Platform

With the rapid development of computer network technology and multimedia technology, people are eager for the new way and content of learning. The traditional network course can’t satisfy the requirement of people for curriculum diversity, personalization, flexibility. As a new teaching model, the micro-courses based on micro video are favored by the people.This study firstly introduced the micro course, its development process and its related theory.By analyzing the research status of micro course home and abroad, this paper states the understanding of micro curriculum concept:Micro course is an integrated curriculum system, it is a synthesis of resource and teaching activities. Micro video is a major component of micro course. This study also expounds the features and main functions of Moodle network platform and have a feasibility analysis of the development of micro course based on the Moodle network platform. On this basis, This study designs a teaching model of micro course combined with the features of "computer basics" course, introduces the design idea and implementation process of each module of micro course in detail, and constructs the micro course of computer basis based on the Moodle network platform.This research has a scientific and feasibility study of micro course. Firstly, choose a class as the experimental class, put the micro curriculum based on the Moodle platform into practice, then, through the method of teachers’ observation and questionnaire, analyze the teaching practice and using effect of micro courses, understand the students’ option on the teaching of micro course and the influence on learning effect, and demonstrate the actual effect of the development of the micro curriculum. Through the experiment, conclude that the micro course based on Moodle platform can improve the students’ ability of autonomous learning and team cooperation, and the learning effect of the students.Micro course based on Moodle platform propel the reform of the teaching method of "computer basics", and promote the integration of teaching with modern information technology. It is of great significance in the computer teaching. By constructing micro course based on Moodle platform, this study states systematically the process of the development so as to accumulate the experience and provide reference for other teachers in our college.
