In this study, through consulting plenty of basketball technical and tactical defense literature, combined with the Chinese men’s basketball team in the 27 th session of the Asian men’s Basketball Championships in the situation, using the method of literature, expert interview method, video observation method, mathematical statistics, logic analysis method were used for the qualitative and quantitative analysis, draw the following conclusions: 1 from the attack to the defense of the time, the Chinese team takes a long time, while the team used the time is relatively short, resulting in the overall defense efficiency is not high. Mainly manifested in the Chinese team grabbed defensive rebounds after a slow, scattered players don’t open, coupled with the main players older, fast moving ability to drop, caused the Chinese team in the defense can not be timely, so that competitors get more chances to score. 2. In defense fast break, Chinese team in offensive rebounds scraping failed to play its proper advantage, cause opponents more protect the lives of the defensive rebound, coupled with the goal after passing lanes on the opponent’s pre judgment is not high, which can not be timely interference opponent’s passing, resulting in to multiple formation of achieved fast break score. 3 Chinese team defensive rebounds with several teams there is a certain gap. Is mainly due to the slower moving inside players, card is insufficient, perimeter players and over reliance on the inside players fighting for rebounds, block people not actively, resulting in the opponent has a lot of snatching second chance to rebound.4. Chinese team in steals because steals the enthusiasm is not enough, weak awareness, plus the lack of intensity physical confrontation, making efficiency of successful steals the ball is not high, leading to the granting of the opponent’s attack is not strong, and make ourselves more into the passive defensive positions, lost more grab off fast break opportunities. 5.
