The Thai education system has included the Chinese language and Culture for many years. After setbacks and learning curves, Chinese prevalent schools have begun to grow and prosper. In support of the Chinese and Thai governments, especially in the strong support of Hanban, the Chinese teaching in Thai ordinary high schools is also in blooming days. In the background of "Chinese Fever", the high school students’ enthusiasms for Chinese learning are not so high. There are still some problems in promotion of Chinese language in Thailand.In this paper, a survey about the willingness to learn Chinese of high school students in northeastern Thailand summarized three factors that affect learners’ willingness to learn the language:the image of the country, language and language teaching, the users’image of the non-target language. Through comparative study of Chinese and non-Chinese schools, we found that Chinese education is not like that thoughtful optimism. Chinese school students most valued of contemporary pop culture on the factors affecting their willingness to learn a foreign language. But they evaluated the influence of pop culture of Chinese not very well. Both Chinese schools and the ordinary schools exist some troubles of teachers; the main thing is poor performance of the Chinese teachers and lack of charm.This paper also carried contrast of English, Korean and Chinese. It was be found that Chinese is not the first choice when learning a foreign language. When Chinese competing with English, is also at a disadvantage. Especially the image of non-native Chinese those whose images cannot meet the expectations of learners’own future image.When doing the Chinese foreign promotion things, it cannot just focus on the number of learners, but also considers how to enhance the learners’ willingness. The most important thing is to stimulate learns’willingness to learn and take the attract learners to learn Chinese for fun. First, China has to establish a positive self-image. Secondly, teachers should take appropriate and scientific teaching methods. Finally, there must be enhancing the level of Chinese language learners and training high-quality and talented Chinese learners. At the same time, in a large range of popularity during the promotion of the Chinese language, the private Chinese schools also need to be given a national attention and support.
