Research On Social Adaptation Of Old Age Immigrants

Xiajiang water conservancy project is a national key water conservancy project,combining social benefits, ecological benefits and economic benefits of flood control,irrigation, power generation and navigation as a whole, It have great significance to promote our province ecological economic zone and improve the standard of city flood control, food security and enhanced navigation power.Due to the construction of hub and a large number of non voluntary relocation resettlement due to changes in the environment and bring the production, life, social relations, their habits, customs,value concept differences caused many bad adjustment disorder, and a large-scale non voluntary relocation resettlement even return migration for bad adaptation.And the traditional researches for the reservoir immigrants adaptation problems have not paid close attention to this special group of elderly immigrants, it is usually through the administrative means to ease, whether it is from for, treat the nature or extent of view,not to a long-lasting effect.As one of the group work method of the three methods of social work can be the effective way to intervene through group power for most of elderly immigrants that have the same needs, thereby enhancing the ability to adapt of all the older immigrant groups.This article based on the questionnaire survey method, semi structure interview method, literature method for Venus community of immigrants to adapt to the situation of measuring and found that elderly immigrants adaptation significantly more serious, and the main existing three aspects of problems of life adaptation(facing the new environment of life, the rhythm of life, economic income of adaptation), interpersonal adaptation(facing the new neighborhood, village collective communication mode of interpersonal adaptation), and psychological adaptation(because of the concept, environment, culture and state caused by the psychological and emotional adaptation). The impact of adaptation factors both individual level,family level and the social level.Focus on adaptation and influence factors of obstacles, through the use of group work professional concepts, techniques and methods to design and carry out the group service according to the three aspects of elderly immigrants exist adaptation problems.Use the method of Process evaluation,assessment interviews to analyse the effects of group intervention that the change of elderly immigrants to adapt to the new situation, combining theory with practice to explore the effectiveness of group work method of interventing to elderly immigrants adapting problem, eventually to make a summary and reflect and develop the practice results.This study use the method of group work to intervent the adaption problem of elderly immigrants who from Venus community that in cities and towns placement of Xiajiang water conservancy hub of migrants.On the one hand, both for the other village or on the social adaptability of the future work of immigrants to provide practical reference, on the other hand, but also conducive to a rich elderly social work,social work theory of immigrants.
