A Study On The Contents Of American Primary School Mother Tongue Writing

The writing textbook content present the course content in detail,and it always depends on the texitbook.And the scientificity of the writing textbook content influence on how-to teach and how-to learn.Compared with the writing textbooks of our country which has no writing goals and no system, the American writing textbooks are supported by clear writing theory and pay more attention to training writing skills and knowledge and the process of writing instruction.Therefore, this study will focus on the content of English writing teaching in American primary school and select the write source, K-5 grade students’ book, as the research object. Through the methods of literature research and content study, this paper analyzes these books from three aspects, its structure, knowledge and guidance. The paper is mainly divided into the following five parts:Chapter one, introduction. This chapter mainly introduces the research reason, research value and research goals. It also defines the concepts of "teaching content", and "write source". It also analyzes the study of writing textbook in the current educational circles.Chapter two, the writing background and basis. This chapter mainly analyzes "write source" from two aspects, writing background and writing basis. During the analysis of writing basis, the author introduces it from two parts "theoretical basis" and "the United States ’Commom Core State Standards’ ".Chapter three, we focus on the structure of writing textbook. According to the structure of "write source", this chapter introduces the textbook from six parts, "the Writing Process ", "the Forms of Writing", "the Tool of Writing", " Basic Grammar and Writing", "A Writer’s Resources" and "Proofreader’s Guide",Chapter four, we analyse writing knowledge of write source. This chapter, we devide the knowledge into declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge. And we analyzes the writing knowledge of "write source", i.e. what students to learn.Chapter five, we analyse the guidance of write source. Base on the function of learning guidance, this chapter introduces the part of writing guidance in "write source", i.e. how students to learn.Chapter six, the evaluation and enlightment of write source. According to the introduction of the above four chapters, this chapter summarizes the characteristics of this textbook and obtains the enlightment, which provides reference for the compilation of the mother tongue writing teaching materials in our country.
