Chinese speech contest is a communicative activity and ability assessment methods, it not only examine the participating students of Chinese language skills and detect the counseling teachers of Chinese language ability, but also reflects the teaching Chinese as a foreign language to develop Chinese communicative competence of learners for target, with Chinese language skill training as the center,the language knowledge into skills. With the development of Chinese education in secondary schools in Thailand, the Chinese speech contest has attracted wide attention,and more and more students are involved in the competition. Therefore, taking the Chinese speech contest of the secondary school students in Thailand as the breakthrough point, the analysis of the problems of Chinese teaching in Thailand secondary school has helped to improve the quality of Chinese teaching and improve the international competitiveness of Chinese.This thesis takes present development situation of Chinese speech contest for 30 secondary schools in central and northeastern of Thailand as the research object, uses the form of questionnaire and interview. Combining with the experiences in Thailand during the teaching, this paper analyses problem in secondary school Chinese speech contest in recent years Thailand has, and put forward some opinions and suggestions for Chinese speech contest in Thailand secondary school.This paper is mainly divided into five parts: the first chapter elaborates the research background, research purpose, research methods and research status at home and abroad of this article; The second chapter discusses the development of the central and northeastern Thailand secondary school Chinese speech contest and teaching, and discusses the relationship between Chinese speech contest and teaching; The third chapter is the investigation of Chinese speech contest and language teaching in the secondary schools in central and northeastern of Thailand; The fourth chapter analyzes the results of the previous survey, and points out the root of the problem of the Chinese speech contest and the teaching; The fifth chapter is the suggestions to the Chinese speech contest and teaching in Thailand secondary school.
