A Study Of Qiang 's Social Mythology From The Perspective Of Discourse Sociology

Myth is a kind of perpetual cultural phenomenon of the human society widely exist in all over the world.The study of mythology through several centuries and range in multiple disciplines such as Historical school,Natural myths school,Psychology school, Functionalism school and Structuralist school. However, the study of myth is still lack of voice from the field ofDiscourse Analysis when myth regarded as a kind of narrative text.The WenChuan Earthquakeoccurred in 2008 had brought a great disaster to all victims who lived in WenChuan,BeiChuan and other afflicted area. The extent of the damage of this earthquake is striking and the psychological elastic of all victims became the most important thing in the Post-disaster reconstruction. However, because of the treatment method of Modern Medical Technology confronted the great challenge and resistance from the local cultural pattern of disaster areaquickly, we had to find a local treatment strategy which could consistent with the local cultural of the disaster area. The fact proved thatQiang local myth text become more and more important in helping the local victims recover their mental health. And after that the real intention of myth had entered a new field of the Discourse Analysis. In fact theresearch began with the discovery and based on the field work in LuoBo Village in WenChuan County In this study, the Critical Discourse Analysis(CDA).Theory of Norman Fairclough were used to analyse the local myth discourse of the Qiang ethnic.There are eight chapter in this paper, the first chapter mainly introduce the research background, research methods and literature review. The second chapter describe the basic information of LuoBo Village. The third chapter response the former PRCA program andusethe relevant quantitative empirical evidencesto supporting the myth is a living power when it as a kind of discourse practice. The fourth chapter enter to the Text Analysis, and in this part we used the three-dimensional analysis framework of Critical Discourse Analysis to reseach the local myth text in linguistic orientation.In chapter five, the Discourse Practice Analysis for myth emphasis the whole process of the local myth text’s production, distribution and consumption. In chapter six, we will use the Social Practice Analysistheory to exploring the ideology of Qiang ethnic group in LuoBo Village. In chapter seven, we try to summarize the local discourse pattern of LuoBo Village. The last chapter is the discussion and discovery of the research.
