The development of knowledge economy has broken through the fetter to people by the traditional economy based on industry and agriculture. Individual abilities are entrustsed with a greater value, and education shoulders a bigger mission on the exploration of human resources. Under the socialist market economy system, market choosing has replaced the old pattern of plan assigning, and every person may face new opportunity and challenge. Therefore, the purpose of education should changed to train talents who can adapt changes and be creative. So, the socity makes new request to the education evaluation, namely the evaluation not only displays its function of distinguishment and selection, but also realizes its function of education and promoting development.This article begins with the teaching practice of middle-school geography education the writer works with, the explose malpractice related to the geography course, it points out the urgency of reforming the evaluation of the middle-school geography curriculum.The evaluation of geography curriculum refers to the dynamic process of judging the quality and its actual effect of the geography curriculum. When judging the value of the geography curriculum, we can not help wondering such problems: evaluated by who? What is evaluation? Which is the standard? How to evaluat? Is the evaluation effective? How does the evaluation's result use? Different replies represent different ideas about course evaluation. The second part of this article mainly discusses the new idea about the reformance of middle-school geography curriculum from the aspects of the main body,system, standard, methods and resit of evaluation .The course evaluation's system is the stick of the education reformance. Different education goals in different times require different evaluation's contents which can promote the unceasingly development of education reformance to adapt with them. The third part of the article mainly elaborats the detail about the evaluation's ideas, based on the student's evaluation, teacher's evaluation, school's evaluation, and gives amounts of operationable cases on the base of deeply analysising the teaching material of middle-school geography.We should think about the trend of the curriculum refoming from the angle of trainning talents which is the essence of the education goal. At present, teaching evaluation and the evaluation reform becoms the bottleneck of curriculum reform. The last part of this article elaborats the countermeasure about practicing the reformance of middle-school geography curriculum evaluation.
