Yanbian Area Junior High School Teachers, Mental Health Research

The teachers' psychological health is a hot topic in psychological health education domain at present. The teachers' psychological health condition not only relates individual occupation development and life happiness, bur also affects the student, the other people and the society. Yanbian area lies in the northeast borderline of our country. Therefore teachers are influenced by multi-culture. Under this premise, the author thinks it has the necessity to conduct the investigation and study junior middle school teachers' psychological health in this area.This research uses the SCL-90 supports meter arid the society evaluates the meter, and carries on the investigation about the Yanbian area15 junior middle schools, including 556 junior middle schools teacher. Result as follows: first, except the body tendency, there are remarkable differences from the national normal standard, that is, teachers' psychological health factors of junior middle school in the Yanbian area, are remarkably lower than the national normal adult Normal standard (p<0.001). This result means teachers in Yanbian area have the better psychological level. Moreover, the body tendency, force and depression are the main symptoms. Second, the Korean National Minority teachers' psychological health factor eliminates the body symptom and is remarkably higher than national adult normal standard. The interpersonal relationship is remarkably lower than national normal adult Normal standard (p<0.001) .Other factors have no remarkable difference with national normal standard. The symptoms are prominent performance for force, body and depression (3≤x). Third, the Korean National Minority teacher psychological health level is remarkably lower than the local Han Nationality teachers' psychological healthy level (p<0.001). Fourth, the teachers whose teaching years is 6-20 years is remarkably lower than other teachers in the aspect of psychological health level. Fifth, the teachers in the different region have the difference in psychological health level performance, for example, the countryside worst, the Yanji city best. Sixth, the teachers who undertake the major course is different in the teachers' psychological health level. Those teachersáre the worst. Seventh, psychological health level of teachers in charge is remarkably lower than that of the non-teacher in charge. Eighth, teachers' psychological health has no remarkable difference in the school category and teacher's school record, marital status, sex and so on.Discovers through the analysis account for the reason why the teachers' psychological health has the difference. The teachers should understand their own psychology healthy condition, fully use the social system and the objective support function. Teachers should positiyely establish the self-service system to maintain the psychological health. Simultaneously the author also thinks that junior middle schoolteachers' psychological healthy education in Yanbian area should be focused on the Korean National Minority teacher, teachers in the countryside, as well as the teaching years and big major, etc.
