The autocratic authority of the teacher, which asks the students to obey all the arrangements made by teachers in the traditional education of secondary school, results in a variety of issues that are detrimental to the healthy development of students. In September 2001, the curriculum reform of national basic education has begun, through the establishment of new curriculum standards, the change of learning style, evaluation method etc. These changes led to the change of the content of personal authority. The paper is going to study that how to transfer the personal authority under the background of new curriculum. The following outline:The first part concerns the definition of personal authority and the problems existed in traditional education. The personal authority included the authority of teacher comes from teacher's knowledge and personality. The traditional characteristic of secondary education, such as single knowledge transfer, determines that the authority has not adapted to the new curriculum.The second one concerns the personal authority of teacher that will be reconstructed in the new curriculum to the traditional authority. The reconstruction is on the equality relation between teachers and students, and it will tend to the personality authority .The third one concerns how to perform the transformation from traditional authority to the new one. The new conception of teaching and the new conception to the students, or the new style of learning in the new curriculum provide the conditions for it.
