For the past ten years, in domestic and foreign, "the self-directed learning" has been one of the most popular research subjects in adult education. Reviewing these research results,lt is not difficult to see, what more scholars pay attention is the adult learner aspect, but little cares about the teacher role. Even if in adult education teacher role aspect literature, also is only just scratching the surface of the type the teacher role to stipulating a promoter, the assistor, the guide, the negotiant, at present did not having the system, the thorough special study.The self-directed learning was considered that is most synthesizing the human natural disposition, and that the high quality study way. It is also the best study way using in the adult lifelong studies, the self-directed learning will be the leading way which the future adult will study. But the change of the adult study's way will certainly cause the change of the teacher teaching's way , the adult education teacher has encountered the unprecedented question and the challenge from merely as the knowledge transmission's role. In the lifelong education system's adult education teacher role to shoulder the important historical mission, the society was having the new anticipation to the adult education teacher role. Therefore, the teacher must renew traditional the role to adapt to the new education circumstances,and to realizing the adult education teacher role transformation already is becoming the time development the necessity.First, why has the present paper analyzed that the self-directed learning is the shoulded choice of adult study. next, by discussing that the change of the adult study's way will certainly cause the change of the teacher teaching's way , the paper revealed the malpractice of the traditional teacher role ; Finally, based on the adult the self-directed learning 's way, the adult education teacher should remoulding its teacher role, The paper proposed the corresponding teacher role transforms strategy.Mainly utilizating the method of inspection, interview and theory methodology, from the pedagogy, the psychology, the sociology and so on many sights ,the paper discussed how the adult education teacher to going out the traditional role ,to entering the new role, to realized the teacher role transformation. My viewpoint mainly displays in the following several aspects: In order to promote the adult self-directed learning in a efficiency way , and how teacher effectivly displaying their function, the paper giving the teacher role by brand-new: To fosters the aspect in the teacher multiple roles, the paper proposed the construction strategy having the creativity: In the teacher teaching state aspect, the paper proposed the teaching strategy.
