Man-land relationship area system is a dynamic complex open systems composed of human and nature systems. The research on man-land relationship area system should pay attention to its time and space changes, from time-space evolution, structural analysis, modeling, simulation, scientific evaluation and elements optimization to commence the study area. Thesis, taking the Guanzliong Plain for empirical region, on the basis of man-land relationship area system theory, studies the following four parts:(1) Time-space evolution of regional system of human-land relationship in Guanzhong plain. Evolution of regional system of human-land relationship is the interaction process between the human and nature. Through deeply analysis of human-land relationship, it can be summarized four aspacts, which are human, nature, human effection to nature and nature's feedback to human. Using the field archaeological data and some research results in archaeology and environmental evolution, this paper analyzes the historic evolution of regional system of human-land relationship since the Holocene in Guanzhong plain according to six factors historical material of four asparts. Based on the historic evolution of six factors, the authors systematically reconstruct the time-space evolution history of man-land system and unveil the interactional mechanisms between human and nature in Guanzhong plain.(2) Grey associative analysis of man-earth area system coupling structure in Guanzhong plain Quantitative study on man-earth area system coupling structure is foundation which is to understand cause and effect feedback relationship, reveal inherent evolutionalmechanism and build quantitative models of man-earth area system. Based on the panel and serial statistical data. an evaluation index of man-earth area system coupling between factor structure and region development of Guanzhong plain is analyzed. Using methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis, and grey correlative analysis, the dissertation built a correlation model and a coupling model of the interaction between factor structure and region development of Guanzhong plain. It analyzed man-earth area system coupling between factor structure and region development of Guanzhong plain, the static space distribution of the coupling of counties in Guanzhong plain in 2005, the dynamic contrast of distribution in 2005 in Inner Mongolia.(3) A SD-based Study of the Simulated Calculation of Man-land relationship area system in Guanzhong plain. Based on system dynamics(SD) model, the simulated calculation analysis is made for the Man-land relationship area system of the Guanzhong area. Using the system dynamics model, different models in different conditions are put forward and simulated by the Vensim PLE software, which will provide an effective solution to environmental and socio-economic systems for temporal and spatial coordination problem.(4) Study on optimal decision-making of the factors in Guanzhong plain. Using the system dynamics model, five different dispatch programs of the water resources system are put forward and simulated by the Vensim PLE software to obtain the outcome of the operation of the different programmes in 2020. The different simulation results are assessed using gray system comprehensive assessment methods from the aspects of the ecological, economy and society. Through the gray system comprehensive assessment, the optimal dispatching program are obtained. In order to effectively resolve water shortage problem and coordinate water system and socio-economic system in the Weihe River Basin, not only the amount of water moving from other zone should be increased, but also planning dispatching program should be optimized and adjusted.The paper combines theoretical analysis, practical investigation and system simulation. The conclusions and recommendations of the research will provide a certain reference to sustainable development in Guanzhong plain. Author thinks further study on Man-land relationship area system should focus on combining theory with reality to building simulator of Man-land relationship area system in Guanzhong plain, which will become major route in research on Man-land relationship area system.
