The Career Aspirations Of Young People And Career Preference

According to The 17^th Conference of Chinese Communist Party, Employment is the basic requirement for people's livelihood. However, the current situation for Chinese Youth is not that optimistic and Chinese Youth's lack of professionalism has negative impact to the development of Harmonious Socialist Society. The coaching of career vision buildup for the youth will definitely helps them to get their first job after graduation towards their career path and helps to set up a good baseline for their future career development, which contribute to the well being of Harmonious Socialist Society. The research of this paper is based on the survey and the interview of GradeⅠand GradeⅡstudents from Guang Ming High School in Yang Pu District of Shanghai together with the existing academic literature on Youth career vision development. Many analyses, on which this paper is made, have been conducted based on the understanding of the interviewees' personal career goal; the situation of market economy trend and the impact of the students' family background. This paper advocates the importance of enhancing the coaching of career vision development for the Youth leveraging the resources from both the individual, family and the public by integrating personal career vision with demand of the society, which providing a practical goal and motivation for the Youth in High School.
