The Western Feminism Ethnics, based on an entirely new perspective of gender, emphasized the experience and value women achieved as "he", by which to challenge the traditional social culture concerning gender. Mary Wollstonecraft (1759-1797) is the originator of the Western Feminism. Her most well-known work "A Vindication of the Rights of Women" (1972), honored as "the feminism cornerstone", is a set classic for those researchers of Feminism around the world.Mary Wollstonecraft wrote A Vindication of the Rights of Women under the tradition of Masculine leadership political theory. Utilizing the many skills, hypothesis and viewpoints which were used by male writers in proving human nature, she drew a conclusion that women have the equal social status with men. A Vindication of the Rights of Women is full of the spirit of reform. Wollstonecraft discovered the ignorance of women's rights and the intensification of men's authority in the traditional ethics and she boldly resisted the sexual prejudice and safeguard women's rights. She was very worried and sorry at women's poor performance. Awaking from the reality, she deeply analyzed the reasons of women's poor performance and reconsider the main body of feminine morality. She opposed women were subject to men, the only solution of which, she thought, was the access to the reasonable education so as to get the opportunity equal to men. The characteristic of reason, concern and justice was embodied in her feminism ethics. Her Feminist Ethics thought was displayed on many aspects, such as criticism to the traditional ethics, pondering the moral main subjects and initiating sexual equality. All these viewpoints not only had great influence at the time, but also maintain their vitality today. So far, though the idea Wollstonecraft advocated has not become a universal truth and there is still a long way to go for our women's liberation around the world, it is still of great importance in directing our local women's liberation movements.
