The language teaching material is the carrier of realizing the language curriculum goal, the foundation of teachers' teaching and students' learning in class, and the important educational resources. We can grasp teaching material's characteristic, further advance the function of the teaching material, and implement to reform the teaching material by carrying on the comparison and the research on it.There present some controversies in the process of reforming the language curriculum, we shall get a analyzing point of view from the teaching material: On the one hand, the impugnation to the language curriculum is directly ascribed to that of the materials; On the other hand ,"an outline multi-book" the teaching material compilation is of various editions. However, various editions and the table of contents are mostly the same except for minor differences or the themes. But many researchers put forward many good proposals and the ponder through the comparative analysis for our country's language teaching material development. Based on this, it has chosen the 7-9 grade language teaching materials version the mainland people pressed to compare with Taiwan academician version's as the main source, planning to carry on the comparison from the following several aspects: in textbook arrangement system, chooses the article system, the work system and so on. Thus, promoting use for reference to take our language teaching material into a new stage.In the exordium, we can establishes the research basic point by combing language teaching material aspect's research and the literature with analyses between two sides across the Taiwan Strait during the recent years. Just like this, we can pay more attention to our real life, basing in student's development.The fourth chapter, comparison system of homework. The work system is occupying a important status in the teaching material.
