Since 1997, UNESCO regard" April 23 "as "World Reading Day", hoping to encourage people especially young people find interest in reading. Through the act, we found that it's important to read for each of us. For juniors, That include fully natural, high and quality reading. Then how about the current junior high school students' reading? I decided to investigate Dongping rural junior high school's extra-curricular reading situation. Through surveys, bring forward some advice to improve juniors'reading.This paper is divided into four chapters:Chapter One is the preamble. the second chapter is Investigation. Which include two parts:First is methodology; second is result. Detail contents include six parts:1. Students'reading attitudes and reading area; 2. Students'reading time; 3. The teachers'attitude on reading; 4. The parents'attitude on reading; 5. School Reading Resources; 6. teachers'reading survey. The third chapter is analysis on base of the results of investigation. Mainly analyzing the positive and negative factors of affecting reading. Chapter 4 will put forward some suggestions. Which include:1. Change the concepts of education from the exam-oriented educational pattern; 2. Boldly reform the current teaching model, and return time to the stucents for reading; 3. consult to erect the pupil's reading schedule; 4.timeing and reasonable appraisal.
