With the development of communication technology , it is a crucial problem that how to transmit data correctly under so complicate electromagnetic environment . Compared with cable transmission , fiber transmission have the strongpoint of electromagnetic interference proof and is light .So it is adopted widely as transmission line .moreover , miniaturization and temperature-resist of system is also required strictly. The system introduced in this paper has the function of multiplexing and de-multiplexing of 8 channels parallel differential digital signals , coding and decoding of optical fiber line code 8B/10B and fiber transmission of high bit rate digital signal. The following work has been done:1 According to the system requirement , Scheming the system, designing hardware circuits including signal source interface circuit transmitting circuit and receiving circuit, debugging them.2 Testing the BER with and without inter-symbol interference.3 Connecting the system with main system, then examining whether the system is practicably. The system has excellent BER performance, its BER is 10-11, which is much better than required , furthermore , the cubage of the system is smaller than that of original system , so it has a high practical value and is approved by relative authority. At the last chapter of this paper , the transform between SPI (synchronous parallel interface) and ASI(synchronous serial interface) is introduced ,which are the standard interface of DVB(digital video broadcast) , then the problem that how to resume the clock of SPI is discussed when ASI is converted to SPI.
