Based On Cluster Technology, Operations Management Systems Research And Applications

With the combination of cluster technology and job management technology, the Job Management System based on Cluster was born. It connects the distributed, isomorphic, self-governed computers into cluster via network, and executes the efficient resource management through software. That forms a distributed computing environment, which has large throughputs and high performance. The new Job Management System not only remains the advantages of the traditional Job Management System, but also brings the high reliability and high availability from cluster technology. It highly improves the system's efficiency.This thesis is based on a specific Job Management System which called CJMS(Cluster Job Management System), Research and practice on the system architecture, basic theory and function enhance is carried out and the main work is as follow:1. Summarized the history and the trend of the Job Management System, and generalized the basic function and main characteristics of the system.2. Investigated and analyzed the architecture of the Job Management System, and abstracted the layered implement model of the Job Management System based on Cluster.3. Studied and analyzed the scheduling of the Job Management System based on Cluster. Presented the layered scheduling model of CJMS. Discussed and selected main arithmetic of the model.4. Provided the basic theory and structure design of an extensible Event Log Records System, which can implement more then one record methods in the Job management System. Implemented three way of recording, which are file log record, Windows event log record and OVO event record.
