With the fast development of computer technology, parallel computing and parallel processing have become one of "hot" topics in current computer reserch field. In the same time, improving performance of parallel computers is becoming more dependent on the functions and efficiency of their slow-speed communication subsystems.Whether the system can quickly transfer data will be the key factor which affects the whole system performance. As the clusters appears, especially the workstation clusters appear, the computing nodes become more disperse. The asynchronous transfer of data cause the high delay in long wire. The commuication subsystem can directly affect the speed and scale of sloving problem in large scale computer. Data switching method and long wire are two most urgent problems to solve .This thesis discusses the hardware architecure of communicating system in clusters node, analyses key factors which influence frequency and bandwidth of current system with long wire .then the thesis discusses implement strategy of switching, provide an solution ---- UX8 crossbar switch, which replaces the current asynchronous switching method with synchronous one.To solve the problem of long wire, an system ---- MultiSlack is given to make the transferring frequency independent on the length of wire. The design and implemention of multislack have been descriped very clearly in association chapters. And the key technology issues are talkd over in detail. At the end of the thesis, The development of the issue is also discussed.
