In the middle of 1990s, the life-service program is always increasing in watching rate, which is based on the enrichment of TV technology and channel resources. With the change of the time and society, mass culture atmosphere is generated in China. Being a typical public culture phenomenon, the life-service program is connected with mass culture. Therefore, we have to connect it with mass culture in order to understand the life-service program completely.In this article, the life-service program is researched in the circle of mass culture. The change of its program's form is analyzed on the perspective of culture. Through mass culture, the heated topic in present theory circle, how the mass culture elements influence program is analyzed in the process of program form change. Also in the article, life-service program form change and its culture traits are viewed microcosmically, in the general course of mass culture. The final aim is try to create a new perspective of life-service program research, which makes this article be different from the former people and has realistic meaning in some degree.The whole article is composed of preface, body and ending. The preface describes the general information of life-service program, the present research in China, the meaning and direction of this article's research. The body can be divided into two parts. The first chapter analyzed life-service program form change in the mass culture circumstance , the continuing appearance of new program form caused by absorbing of many program elements, which is connected with context and traits of mass culture. The second chapter describes that life-service program shows commercial, artistic and humanistic traits during the change of program form. The ending summarizes the whole article and provides useful suggestions for life-service program so as to improve it.
