With the economic globalization and the development of e-commerce, enterprises confronted with fierce competition, shrinking profits and rising costs have been in demand for workflow automation and business reengineering; therefore, the Business Process Management System (BPMS) has been adopted by many industries such as telecommunication and energy to achieve shortened workflow time, rapid response to the demand of the market and customers, analysis of the costs and problems of workflow, and reduction of unnecessary posts, so as to decrease effectively the management cost and increase the enterprises' ability in terms of decision-making and response. Prosperous as the BPMS software market is, customers encounter the difficulty in selection of such softwares because of the lack of unified evaluation criteria.At present, the trustworthy has become a vital feature of software, thus, it has become an important task in the research of the trustworthy of BPMS software, so to make objective and quantitative integrated evaluation will in favor of the vendors to develop the trustworthy software and help the decisionmakers to select the software.In connection with the 863 scientific research project undertaken by the laboratory and targeted at the issue of trustworthy evaluation of software in the field of business workflow management, this paper has made a research on the trustworthy indicators of BPMS software and has studied the evaluation process and algorithmic model. The main components of the paper are as follows:1. The paper provides the definition of the trustworthy of BPMS, establishes the hierarchical structure of the indicators of trustworthy, and studies the measurement definition of trustworthy indicators of BPMS and the content description of the indicators;2. The process evaluation model BPMSTEPM was established to direct the implementation of the evaluation;3. In this paper, we applied algorithm model AAHM, which include the AHP-based method and method of multi-attribute group decision-making of operators of AWM and HA, to achieve the quantitative evaluation of the trustworthy of BPMS software;4. TrustEva tool was designed and implemented, which is a B/S structure based assistant evaluation device, to help the evaluation personnel establish the decision-making environment of evaluation which is to ensure an effective and easy evaluation.
