Modern society is an information society, in which, the obtainment and transfer of information gradually transit from wired to wireless. With the development of wireless communication, the technology of wireless data transmission is acquainted by more and more people , the corresponding products penetrate through the social life of every fields, such as Wireless meter reading, Digital image transmission, Community of data collecting, Non-contact RF smart card, Security fireproofing system, Regional alarm, and other Digital signal transmission ect. Meanwhile, more and more Embedded Devices, such as Computers, Mobile phones, DVD players, PDA, Scanners get into the people's life. Most of the equipment is connected with cable, however, the use of cable is inconvenient, for people, many techniques came into being to replace cable technology.This thesis focuses on a short-range wireless serial communication system, which transmits data through its synchronous serial interface (SPI) and a low-cost wireless data transmission program to be achieved. The program of low-cost, easy development can be widely used in bar code scanning, wireless meter reading, and so on. The thesis mainly discusses the system design of the master and slave. The system consists of two parts. The hardware design mainly consists of three parts--- LPC2148 Controller circuit, nRF2401 RF circuit and interface circuit. The soft part includes the drivers of LPC2148 Processor, nRF2401 configuration program, the sending and receiving data program. The third part mainly deals with the debugging of sending and receiving program. The key technology includes the interface of LPC2148 and nRF2401, drivers of the LPC2148,nRF2401 and sending and receiving data program .Some of practical skills how to wire reasonable on a PCB board with digital and analog circuits in the Circuit production process.
