In methods of the electromagnetic scattering analysis, method of moments (MOM) is the very important calculating method. The theory of the MOM is relatively mature. But at the time of analyzing scattering for electrically large bodies and complicated objects, the ordinary MOM has some problems. For example, memory deficiency, bad calculation accuracy and long calculation time and so on. This thesis is based on the magnetic integral equation and the electromagnetic scattering characteristic of conductor objects is investigated.Above all, the fundamental theory of MOM is introduced, as well as the process of electromagnetic problems analyzed by the MOM. The MOM solution of integral equation for electromagnetic scattering problems requires calculation of singular integrals, the calculation singular matrix element is one of the most important factors that affecting the accuracy of MOM. Generally, the MOM solution of magnetic field integral equation for two-dimensional scattering problems, when the part of singularity usually approximately straightening, but the result gets lowaccuracy. In order to avoid the singularity and to improve precision of diagonal element, the first method:The interval which included singularity point is divided into two subintervals, the calculation of every subinterval is obtained by non-singular traditional method. Therefore, the total value of singular matrix element is sum of singular value and two subinterval contribution. The second method:The interval is also divided into two subintervals, the calculation of every subinterval is obtained by gaussian integral. The total value of singular matrix element is sum of singular value and two subinterval contribution. The numerical results demonstrate that accuracy and efficiency are improved.
