Huhehu depression is lies in the southeast of Hailaer Basin, and it is a secondary structural unit of Hailaer Basin. With the deep exploration,the two important rift Wuerxun and Beier depression in Hailaer Basin are completely proved.At the same time exploration also shows that the Huhehu depression has a better oil and gas resources,it can become a new block of resource replacement.This paper is on the basis of geology, and use structural geometry and kinematics's methods and principles as direction, through the research of structural features and tectonic evolution of Huhehu depression,the coercion to sedimentary system because of the tectonic evolution process were analysied,also the coercion to. hydrocarbon generation, migration and accumulation because of tructural features and tectonic evolution of Huhehu depression were discussed. The results show that Huhehu depression has experienced five tectonic movement,and period of intense activity of faults is the late depositional periods of Nantun, the late depositional periods of Yimin and the deposition period of Qingyuangang.This results that extension, strike slip, reverse and other structural styles coexist,and the structural characteristics are very complex.The faults in Huhehu depression can divide into two system In vertical, respectively the upper and lower fault system. and the development of 4 types of faults in Huhehu depression. In this area different stages of tectonic evolution formed different sedimentary system, Tectonic activity controlled the subsidence center migration,also it controlled the distribution of source rocks, migration and accumulation of hydrocarbon.The fault and disconformities provide channel and path for hydrocarbon migration. structural trap provide favorable place for hydrocarbon accumulation. on the plane hydrocarbon enrichment the main petroleum generating sub sag and the areas among controlling-depression fault nearby the main petroleum generating sub sag.on the longitudinal direction hydrocarbon enrichment below or above disconformities nearby target formation.
