About 5 billion years ago, aquatic plant began to evolve into terrestrial plant. In the course of evolution, there were great changes in the form, structure, survival and physiological in order to adapt to the environment of the land. In 1757, Ludwig found that there was a layer covered on the cell walls of cabbage leaf epidermis cells. After that, botanists also found that majority of the terrestrial plants were covered by similar membrane. This membrane is very thin, covered on the leaf, flower, fruit of plants, is a permanent surface organization, with a asymmetry, was called cuticle. The formation of cuticle plays an important role in self-protection and also is the first barrier between plants and external environment. Cuticle hinders the plant to absorpt and use the protectant and herbicide et al.Surfactant can significantly change the characteristics of the surface material when it is in a low concentration. Surfactant are made up by nonpolar and polarity, belong to a kind of amphiphilic molecules. Surfactant can helps to improve the permeability of cuticle and improve the absorption of foreign nutrient. This research is dedicated to the study the permeability of cuticle, and at the same time to screening high efficiency surfactant. Research results summed up as follows,Through a large number of trials, we found the optimal conditions to get the independent cuticle of plant. When the concentration of pectinase is 1000u/L, the concentration of cellulose enzyme is 500u/L,25°, pH=4, it is the optimal conditions. But there are still leaves of cuticle of some plant is hard to escape, such as the leaves of Ligustrum lucidum Ait. Now we try to improve the concentration of cellulose enzyme and pectinase, increase the temperature and change the pH to find the conditions to get the cuticle of Ligustrum lucidum Ait.Field experiments show that, after spraying the iron nutrient contains surfactant, the iron content of wheat increase obviously. This shows that the three surfactants TBP,DES,DESU all can help the wheat to absorb the iron nutrient. The iron content of spraying the iron nutrient contains surfactant after 48 hours is higher than that after 24 hours, shows that the effect of surfactant is continued.The research on the cuticle of apple also shows that the three surfactant help the cuticle to absorb the iron nutrient. The research also shows that temperature can change the activity of surfactant and the permeability of cuticle. No matter the research on the cuticle of apple or the field research, both show that the three surfactants can help the the cuticle of apple and wheat to absorb the nutrition.
