Reservoir characterized by low permeability structure and layer complex trap gas reservoir, thickness intensively changed, with strong aeolotropism, the reservoir have characters of low porosity and low permeability in local region, disturbed by surrounding rock, pore and split is the important factor affected the good and bad of reservoir. For further finding structural feature and contact relation of the structure and beating out fault arrangement and reservoir distribution condition, finding gas accumulation zone and offering decision foundation for exploring, the thesis take the prediction of spatial arrangement and split development.The thesis take the Carboniferous in QWS Block in the Southeast of Sichuan as prediction of reservoir, in view of character of Carboniferous gas pool, included low porosity , low permeability and strong aeolotropism, combined the geology, well drilling, well logging and seismic data, analyzed the character of geophysics response, determined primarily amplitude and method of inversion as the prediction method, predicted Carboniferous reservoir using velocity and porosity inversion, used 3D seismic multiscale edge detection to process seismic data and predict plane arrangement character of crack, fault, small split, analyzed effects of reservoir by split development.The results of reservoir prediction indicated: the overall thickness of the Carboniferous in work area had gradual reduction trend from west to east, from south to north, reservoir is relatively developed, due to multiple stresses, the split development in work area are widely distributed; using amplitude method and the inversion method compute the thickness of the Carboniferous reservoir is reasonable and feasible, jointing inversion of velocity and porosity can improve the of accuracy prediction, reservoir prediction results were affected by the quality of seismic data and logging data ,the better quality ,the higher the reliability of the results;3D seismic multiscale edge detection method of split prediction has been good application in the area which had high quality seismic data, split prediction results can be deployed for drilling wells to provide reference.
