The subtribe Lagriina belongs to Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae, Lagriinae, Lagriini, including 1310 species (subspecies) in more than 80 genera in the world and distributing in Eurasia, Africa, New Guinea, Australia and America, especially rich in tropical Africa and India-Malaysia.86 species of Lagriina have been found in China, mainly occurring in the southern China. Based on a large number of samples, this dissertation studies the systematics of the subtribe Lagriina from China.The dissertation consists of two parts:the general account and the systematic account. In the general account, research progress from the home and abroad, morphological characteristics and terminology are introduced, as well as research materials and methods, classification systems and phylogeny, geographical distribution, biology and economic significance. In the second section, the author describes 86 species,8 genera of Lagriina from China. Also, keys to genera and species are worked out; the morphological characteristics of each genus and species are presented; synonyms and citations of each taxon, specimen data and geographical distribution are given.13 illustrations and 3 plates are provided.10 new species and 2 new recorded species from China were found. All are listed as follows:New species:Aulonogria informicornis sp. nov.; Cerogria transversicormis sp. nov.; Lagria yadongana sp. nov.; L. gracilicorna sp. nov.; L. flavecaudata sp. nov.; L. longicornia sp. nov.; L.serrata sp. nov.; L. medoga sp. nov.; Neogria nigripecta sp. nov.; Xanthalia tubeculata sp. nov.New records from China: Bothynogria meghalayana Merkl,1990 (Yunnan Province); Xanthalia rouyeri (Pic,1915) (Yunnan Province)Type specimens and specimens of the newly recorded species from China are mainly preserved in the Museum of Hebei University.
