This paper is lies on the project "the overall research and exploration technology integration of Altay metallogenic belt", which is studied by Beijing Institute of Geology for Mineral Resources and Nanjing Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources. The tectonic position of the study area is on the tectonics binding site of the Siberian plate and the Kazakhstan-Junggar plate. The main body is located in the Junggar region, and the tectonic environment is more complex. Against the background of metallogenic domain of Central Asian Orogenic Belt being huge, the faults of the area are more upgrowth and magmatic activities are very intensive. Mineral resources of copper, nickel, gold are extremely rich, which show very good exploration prospects. The copper, gold and polymetallic deposits with four types in study area indicats good exploration prospects in the region. Therefore, to enhance the research and evaluation of the typical deposit is significant to discovery new deposit or enlarge deposits which have been discouvered.Based on summarizes and analyzes the available data, this paper carries on reserch into the geological background, the geological metallogenic conditions, rock alterations, mineralized feature and the genesis of deposits of the study area. Through a comprehensive contrastive analysis on the rock or ore age and stable isotope, etc, and other means, this paper is to discuss geological conditions, material source, metallogenic regularity, and synthesize geological geochemical, geophysical information in order to establish a synthetic prospecting model, which will prove significant evidences for ore prospecting in the study area. The main achieved advancements are as following:1,The Beitashan group of Middle Devonian or the Nanmingshui group of Lower carboniferous in the study area is the main host formation.2,The faults are developed well, with a mainly Northwest strike. Faults not only controlls the distribution of ore bodies, but also controlls the distribution and form of rock bodies related with metallogenesis.3,The mineralization evolution in the area can be roughly divided into two metallogenic epoch:380Ma, the stage of the Paleo-Asian ocean plate subducted to Kazakhstan- Junggar plate formed stratabound deposits related with volcanic(massive sulfide polymetallic deposits); 327-285 Ma, the stage from the plate convergence, collision to postorogenic relaxation phase formed a series of copper, gold, polymetallic deposits controlled by faults.4,S-Pb isotopes indicated that Ore-forming material came from the deep source of magma; hydrogen-oxygen isotopes showed that ore-forming fluids are magmatic water mixed with atmospheric precipitation.5,the ore-forming metals and sulfur came mainly from a deep source of magma, the ore-forming fluids came mainly from homologous magmatic differentiation. Then form deposits in different times and tectonic environment.6,Connecting with the predecessors research results-this paper provided synthetic prospecting model of the ore concentration area after synthesized deposit patterns of Kalatongke copper-nickel Deposit Saerbulake Gold Deposit,Suoerkuduke copper-molybdenum deposit,Qiaoxiahala iron-copper-gold deposit,Halasu copper-molybdenum deposit,Xilekuduke copper-molybdenum deposit, and provided synthetic prospecting model of the ore concentration area.7,This paper puts forward specific using high-precision magnetic survey, gravity survey, induced polarization intermediate gradien survey, induced polarization sounding method etc geophysical methods and soil geochemical survey, rock (cutting) profile measurement and other exploration technical methods to evaluate Xilekuduke copper-molybdenum deposit and Aketas copper-gold ore spots.
