With the development of global navigation satellite system, the GPS technology is applied more and more extensively. While the GPS satellite positioning area network construction and related technology research and application, has become the mapping, meteorology, earthquake, navigation and other departments jointly research hotspot. Construction of GPS regional station network is a complex system engineering, covering everything from web design to data acquisition and processing as well as the application and service the entire process, meet a number of departments of applied GPS area network design is little research. This article will also meet on surveying and mapping, meteorology and earthquake monitoring GPS regional station network construction design research.This article from the perspective of theory and practice, analysed GPS technology in precise positioning, retrieval of atmospheric water vapor and the seismic observation and other aspects of the application principle, the domestic GPS network construction and application of study. On this basis, according to the actual conditions of Jiangxi Province, analyzes the establishment to meet a number of departments at the same time the applicable GPS regional station network monitoring system, proposed the building of the Jiangxi province GPS regional station network monitoring system construction, design and Realization of a system design plan, and in the practical application of design scheme inspection. The results show that, by the vision system can meet the application requirements of several departments, to achieve a " multiple fields to apply" design goals.This paper mainly in the following aspects of some work:(1) Based on GPS precise positioning, atmospheric water vapor inversion and seismic monitoring principle analysis, find out the different areas of application for GPS deformation monitoring network design technical requirements, comprehensive study and put forward at the same time to meet different application requirements of GPS monitoring network design requirements. (2) Based on Mapinfo (Mapbasic) software, in different areas of application for GPS deformation monitoring network design technical requirements for the control condition, through the computer programming technique for determining the site location and number, build station network layout model.(3) Based on the regional GPS monitoring network data transmission, processing and storage needs, combined with the actual situation, the research for the communication network system and method for surveying and mapping, meteorology and earthquake in different sectors of data processing and sharing system.(4) According to the research results establishing Jiangxi province GPS regional station network monitoring system, the practical application of inspection department, construction quality control system meets the design requirements, to achieve " a platform, an investment, a variety of service " effect.In this paper the application areas of GPS monitoring system construction design method has certain practical significance. Through this research, for our country other preparing to build the GPS regional monitoring system of province, city or department provides technical reference and the feasibility of the program, the design meets the requirements of scientific development.
