With the improved of the bridge construction technology and a variety of advanced construction materials development, many new structure and unique structure of large span bridge projects have been completed and put into use, the trend brings new request to deformation monitoring of bridge. The deformation monitoring based on GPS technology is a hotspot in engineering, in recent years, the technology of GPS in bridge engineering deformation monitoring field also got the successful applications.This paper was on the basis of analyzing the GPS technology application to bridge engineering deformation monitoring research and application situation, elaborated the deformation monitoring and the basic principles of GPS measuring, systematically study the GPS deformation monitoring technology used in bridge engineering applications, focus on research the data processing method of adaptive Kalman filter. Combined with the bridge deformation monitoring test, researched the method of data processing using in the GPS bridge deformation monitoring, compared with other methods, verified the rationality and superiority of this method using the bridge deformation monitoring data processing. Finally, combined with the data of bridge deformation, analyzed the reasons of the deformation situation of the bridge. The main research included the following two aspects:Combined with several commonly used data processing method of deformation monitoring, introduced the basic principles of Kalman filter systematically, focus on the research of the use of adaptive Kalman filter in the bridge deformation monitoring data processing, by compared with the standard Kalman filter and the BP neural network, verified the rationality and superiority of this method.Combined with the project of bridge deformation monitoring, research the point laid of the bridge deformation monitoring, measuring mode and design content, wrote the data processing program of adaptive Kalman filter using the software of Matlab, processing and analysis the bridge monitoring data, researched the upstream and downstream of the deformation of the measuring point and the deformation of the pillar correlation cable-stayed bridge.
