Magnetic reconnection is one of the basic phenomena in plasma physics. It is an important process for the conversion of magnetic energy in the space plasma and laboratory plasma. We have studied and discussed magnetic reconnection with2.5-dimensional Hall MHD numerical simulation method. We mainly discussed the relationship between reconnection rate with the initial guide field and Hall current. In the first chapter, we have introduced the background of magnetic reconnection which including solar activity, Earth magnetosphere and interplanetary shock. In the second chapter, we have introduced the theoretical model of magnetic reconnection. we mainly introduced the basic principles of magnetic reconnection, the classification and several classic theoretical model. In the third chapter, we have introduced the satellite observations of magnetic reconnection and describe the numerical simulation methods. And then, we introduced the development of magnetic reconnection study and put forward our ideas. In the fourth chapter, we have studied magnetic reconnection with initial guide field by the2.5-dimensional Hall MHD numerical simulation method. Studies have shown that the magnetic reconnection rate decreases with the initial guide field strengthen. We also found the Hall coefficient d. is very important for the magnetic reconnection. The magnetic reconnection rate increased nonlinearly whith Hall coefficient di.The study found that the resistivity can promot the magnetic reconnection.A small change of the resistivity also can affect the magnetic reconnection rate.
