Taking sequence stratigraphy, new structural geology theory and other theories asguidance, on the basis of seismic data and well logging data, we can explain the seismic datain a high-precision for Changchunling area compared with predecessors of research results.We can use seismic data processing obtained information on stack velocity spectrum, andestablish the three-dimensional velocity field model, and then continuous varying velocitymaps can be made. Combining results and application of seismic data, we find on the plane,the structure of deep horizon can be divided into three ramp and three depression, and theshallow horizon can be divided into three anticline regions and three syncline regions.Through a detailed structural analysis and sequence interface characteristics, we find the studyarea can be divided into ectonic transformation structure layer, fault-depression depressionstructure layer and inversion structure layer on the vertical. structural patterns in the studyarea is very rich, mainly includes extensional structural pattern, Twist the structure pattern andreversal structure pattern.Based on the sequence-stratigraphic analysis and balanced cross-production, thestructure evolution can be made. The Changchunling area has been divided into faultdepression stretching period, fault depression conversion period, fault depression stablesettlement period and reversal-changing period. We came to the conclusion thatChangchunling area has two sets of reservoir-cap on the vertical.Combined with comprehensive analysis of structure and sedimentary and petroleumgeology, we predict and point out the favorable exploration areas of Changchunling area islocated in Changchunling anticline, Simajia anticline and Chaoyang fault depression.
