Cnc Thread Grinder Electrical System Design And Research

This subject was based on the Jiangsu Innovation Fund Project——"Smart grinding method and key technique study on Precise NC Screw Grinder". This screw grinder could grind a screw, besides it was capable of relief grind. The whole electrical system was analyzed and designed in consistent with the technological requirements.This paper first analyzed the structure of Thread grinding machine and the working process of CNC thread grinder, then designed the appropriate control scheme. According to the control scheme, numerical control system and electrical system choose mainly hardware brands. According to the control content of electrical system designed the main electrical system and control circuit, and designed PLC program and NC program. Finally, system was installed and debugged.In the process of this paper design electrical system thread grinder, the mainly control axis of machine used servo control. Inverter controlled wheel motor, dressing wheel motor used electrical spindle, which was controlled by inverter. This NC screw grinder's electrical system was planned out on SINUMERIK 840D and MCP (Machine control panel) was designed with SIMATIC S 7-300 embedded in 840D, subsequently, completed the sequential control of auxiliary motor. A solution of realizing the control of Grind wheel constant linear speed through CNC was figured out and was simulated in Matlab. The above electrical system was analyzed by consideration of EMS (electromagnetic compatibility) and model selection of low-voltage electrical apparatus and motors.System debugging and running indicated that the design was correct. Data obtained from simulation experiments showed that the control problem of Grind wheel constant linear speed was overcame and was helpful in future study.
